Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted when she was a kid and started the second grade when she was five. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. She graduated in 1975. She was also a contestant in Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her aunt, in 1977 relocated in New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week after. She soon relocated to Europe, spending a year in Milan and Paris. However, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene and modeling in Europe which led her to pursue acting while in the country. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed receptions.
