Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. She debuted on the big screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 in which she won the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. French, German English fluently. Her mother was a violinist The father of her is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best theater schools. She was awarded an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. She was chosen as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. Her debut film Sex Traffic won the award of British Academy Television in the category of Best Actress. She also received several prizes for her performance in 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She starred as an actress from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 saptamani si 2 zile (four months 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 three weeks and two days) that was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared on The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in the BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy. Marinca was a character in Yasim's story in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, in addition to the Romanian drama Boogie. Later, she had major roles in 2014's Fury where she was Irma who was the German aunt of Emma.
