Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to beat her an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records for amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 saw her rise from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking her streak to win. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
